The Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau is proud to sponsor the 2014 Pearland Crawfish Festival April 4 -6, 2014. The bugs will be boiling and a “bon temp” will be had by all with the return of the Pearland Crawfish Festival. The Pearland Crawfish Festival takes the friendly, relaxed fun and community feel of a small town fair and serves it up big. The festival takes place on Highway 288 between FM 2234 and Broadway (FM 518) – Friday & Saturday: 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM and Sunday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
We’ll be back serving even more hot, fresh crawfish, along with the best of Cajun dishes and classic festival fare. The overwhelming response of people coming to enjoy this great event means we’ll be bringing out more this year: more food – including more Cajun food, more vendors, more activities, more carnival rides, and more fun! Specialty entertainment like last year’s popular Splash Dogs will be back and bigger than before, with armadillo races,contests, Marie Laveau’s Voodoo Garden, and more.
The mix of flavors includes the live music. The Houston Blues Society will fill the Blues Society Stage with even more of the top local and regional blues favorites and rising newcomers. More of the area’s best Zydeco, Texas Country, and Classic Rock raise the roof of the Bayou Stage. Performers will mingle with vendors of gifts, arts and crafts. A Children’s Area will provide plenty of activities and fun for kids. All of Pearland is ready to join in and help show the world all that makes life here so special.
The festival takes place on a 50 acre lot on the West side of HWY 288 between Broadway (FM 518) and FM 2234 donated by Shadow Creek Ranch, providing perfect visibility and plenty of room for fun, crawfish, food, crafts, carnival, stages, and parking at the festival site.
