The 8th Annual Freedom Triathlon rolls in to Pearland on Sunday, June 29 at Independence Park.  The sprint distance triathlon (300 meter swim, 11 mile bike, & 3 mile run) is open to first-time and experienced triathletes alike and honors the military for the freedom we enjoy.  Participants can race in honor or memory of a loved one in the military.  Local veterans and volunteers will be on hand to make it a first class event.  Benefiting the Vic Coppinger Family YMCA Annual Campaign, the triathlon is open for registrations, visit www.yfreedomtri.org for details.
