This two-day finds & treasures visit offers a unique glimpse of Houston history and vintage shopping in Pearland. Pearland is perfectly placed in the Gulf Coast Region of Texas and within ten miles of downtown Houston and Hobby Airport.

You’ll find eleven, major brand hotels in Pearland. (Choose from Best Western, Candlewood Suites, Comfort Suites, Courtyard by Marriott, Hampton Inn by Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, Holiday Inn Express & Suites, La Quinta Inn & Suites, Sleep Inn & Suites or SpringHill Suites by Marriott.)

Day 1

From Hobby Airport, head north to Sam Houston Park in downtown Houston. The 20+ acre park is a reminder of Houston’s past. Visitors will find nine frozen-in-time historic houses and one church set against a rolling green backdrop in the turn-of-the-century preserved setting. The park includes a lily pond, a beautiful gazebo, scenic sculptures, and a children’s play area. The park, originally purchased in 1899, is maintained by the Heritage Society and serves as a reminder of Houston’s origins. l 713-655-1912

Next stop is Hidden Treasures – an upscale consignment store showcasing furniture and home accessories. The 15,000 square-foot showroom offers a unique selection of home décor. Each of the vignettes in the space has a high-end designer feel. In addition to items for the home, you’ll find a small selection of jewelry pieces.
