Pearland ISD Livestock Show & Career FairThe community is gearing up for the sixth annual Pearland Independent School District Livestock Show & Career Expo September 13-15 at the Richard L. Wagoner Agricultural Facility, 4715 Bailey Road.

During the show, Pearland ISD students will exhibit livestock, showcase career talents and win scholarships and awards in art and culinary contests and lamb, goat, swine and cattle shows.

Show Schedule

Thursday, Sept. 13:
5-6 p.m. – Culinary Judging
5-8 p.m. – Petting Zoo
6 p.m. – Goat Show (Champion Presentation after Goat Show)
7 p.m. – Lamb Show

Friday, Sept. 14:
3-5:30 p.m. – Art Viewing
5-8 p.m. – Petting Zoo
6 p.m. – Steer Show/Steer Showmanship
6:45 p.m. – Champion Art Presentation
7 p.m. – Swine Show/Swine Showmanship

Saturday, Sept. 15:
4:30-6 p.m. – Auction Dinner (Turner College and Career High School Cafeteria, 4717 Bailey Road)
6:30 p.m. – Live Auction

The PISD Livestock Show is designed to develop character, leadership, cooperation and citizenship in youth of the community.  The livestock show is a community activity in which students of Agricultural Science earn the privilege to exhibit their work, according to show officials.  The popular event is widely attended by residents and visitors alike.
