24th Annual Tour De Lites

The 24th Annual Tour De Lites Family Bicycle Ride strolls through Pearland’s Green Tee Terrace community to view Christmas lights on Saturday, December 9, 2017. The popular event is sponsored by Keep Pearland Beautiful and starts 7 p.m. at Shadycrest Elementary, 2405 Shady Bend Dr, Pearland, TX 77581 with check-in at 6:30 p.m. The one and half hour ride is designed for youth and adult riders.  Enjoy hot chocolate and cookies at the end of the ride at Shadycrest Elementary.

Contest
Show your holiday spirit and participate in the bike decoration contest. Trophies will be awarded for first place in adult and youth categories for the best decorated bicycle and/or rider. Ribbons will be awarded for second place. All participants in the contest must check-in by 6 p.m.

A hayride is available for those who cannot ride a bicycle. Pre-registration for the hayride is required with only 60 slots are available.

Proceeds from the ride go toward Hike & Bike Trails in Pearland.

Fees:
The pre-registration fee for the ride is $15 for the first member of a family and $5 for each additional family member. On-site late registration will be $25 for the first member of a family and $5 for each additional family member. There is no charge for children 5 and under to participate. The fee includes one ride T-shirt per family, a ride packet, route map, ride and refreshments. Additional T-shirts are available at $10 each. All children age 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult, with no more than 3 children per adult.

All bike riders must wear a helmet in order to participate in the ride.
THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS, there will be no rain date.  All who paid for t-shirts will be able to pick up their shirts at the Stella Roberts Recycling Center.
