Crisp, fall weather is in the forecast welcoming in the month of October.  A few of our favorite, October events in Pearland are the perfect way to enjoy the outdoors.  We’ve rounded up our picks for you:

St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Pearland, known as the Pumpkin Church, has one of the most popular pumpkin patches in the area.  An annual tradition for many family fall photos, the pumpkin patch at the 2535 Broadway Street location is open every day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.  Don’t miss the annual craft fair on Friday, October 13 and Saturday, October 14 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. showcasing a collection of area crafts and artists. Yoga in the Patch, October 5 at 8 p.m. or Trick or Treat in the Patch on October 29 at 6:30 p.m.

Pearland Art & Crafts on the Pavilion features a curated selection of artists specializing in handcrafted pieces for sale.  Live music, a kids interactive art station, pop-up paint studio, wine bistro and chalk art by student artists offer family fun for all ages.  The FREE event takes place at the Pearland Town Center, 11200 Broadway Street on Saturday, October 7 & Sunday, October 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  New this year is a Saturday evening concert from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with the Spinsations.

Oktoberfest is 3-days of fun at the original, Pearland King’s Biergarten & Restaurant.  Celebrating German culture, the annual festival has become known as one of the largest Oktoberfest celebrations in the Houston area.  With tiered pricing, the celebration offers an experience at a few levels – Friday, October 6 through Sunday, October 8 at the 1329 Broadway Street location.
